HOW DOES OPEN SAHARA WORK?

The Open Sahara webservice is pretty simple. Its API accepts a user provided text or URL, and returns semantic information about the content in the provided document.

Open Sahara uses smart language processing and statistical algorithms to extract entities, facts, and events from the texts that it analyses.

Open Sahara does not store the texts analysed for its users. However, the semantic metadata that Open Sahara extracts from the texts may be stored by Open Sahara.
